The NE Youth Ambassador Programme is a hands-on, minds-on experience designed specially for school students. It aims to nurture student leaders to understand the Singapore Story and then, engage their peers. In order to achieve this, we encourage students to complete the entire NE Ambassador Series and achieve the Gold Award.

What were some of the attitudes that enabled the progress of Singaporeans despite the many constraints we had? What spirit did our leaders show to overcome the difficulties of buiding a successful Singapore? What are the six NE messages? Students learn the answers to these questions through this programme. It includes both classroom-based lessons and interaction with the exhibits.
The second half of the programme helps students identify qualities of a good leader and learn how they can develop good leadership skills. Students will also pick up tips on effective communication and presentation in this programme.

This programme follows the bronze badge of the NE Ambassadors training. The silver and gold award programme builds on the knowledge gained in the Bronze programme and instills in them confidence in Singapore. This training will arm them with skills that will allow them to effectively carry out their roles as NE Ambassadors in their schools.
The silver award programme will equip students with the required hands-on skills, while the gold award programme will enable students to complete an NE-themed project with the skills acquired from the silver award programme.
Schools can select one of the specialisation tracks:

- Students will be taught the basic steps to setting up an exhibition.
- Students will be introduced the concept of conservation of artefacts to students.
